Harvesting with Purpose
At the Wild Rice Experience, we follow a holistic approach rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing. Our teachings honour the mind, body, heart, and spirit — guiding how we learn from and with the land.
Mentally
Learn about the nutritional value of manoomin and how this traditional food supports wellness and balance.
Physically
Take part in every step of the harvest — from canoeing through the rice fields to learning how to prepare and cook wild rice in meaningful ways.
